Counselling Service in SANDWELL
Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Beverly - I am a qualified and experienced counsellor. I have been involved in the field for the past eight years. Although I am Person Centred trained I believe in using other counselling styles depending on the client's issues and needs.
Confidentiality is very important. I adhere to the BACP Ethical framework for Good Practice and Professional Conduct in Counselling.
I am based within easy reach of West Bromwich, Walsall, Smethwick, throughout Sandwell,the black country and surrounding areas...... my counselling services are available within these areas or Nationally and Internationally via the telephone or the Internet. Please contact me for details.
Most of my appointments are for home visits, telephone counselling or email at the moment, although sometimes I can arrange other appointments to suit (please ask for details).
Nu-me 2 was born when a client remarked after her sessions that she felt like a 'new person' (new-me). By exploring, identifying and discussing her issues she was able to move forward and make a new start.
Telephone counselling is offered to clients simply because there are times when you need to speak to someone and may not be able or want to leave your home (you could even be on the move). Counselling is not a befriending option but it does help when you need to speak, or to share a problem good or bad knowing it is in confidence. You will not be judged and you and your views will be respected. It is reassuring to know there is someone at the end of the telephone.
With the Internet being such a powerful tool these days and people feeling more comfortable in their homes or surroundings; but would like to speak with someone - this was no surprise to follow. You can recieve help via an email.
I am experienced at treating many conditions (in fact too many to mention) although specialising in Loss and Bereavement (due to my Placement during my Dip training). This I found lead to many other issues which needed to be dealt with to continue the healing process. Whether you are suffering from anxiety, trauma, loss, depression or just a feeling of stuckness. If you are feeling alone and need that someone to talk to in confidence without being judged - then counselling could be for you.
By making the initial contact - that is the start of your journey. By taking this action it means you are helping yourself and not going mad. You can determine your future by making that choice now.

I counsell 18s and over - although anyone under this age contacting me will be referred to other appropriate or specialist agencies (in complete confidence of course).
